Extended Voronoi by Leonardo Solaas

Extended Voronoi is a work in progress of Leonardo Solaas, these images are some experiments on taking the idea of Voronoi

Color is calculated per pixel. In a classic Voronoi tessellation, there's a discrete set of points or poles in space, and each pixel is assigned to the nearest one. See more;

"Now, it is easy to think of variations on the concept. For example:

- paint each pixel with the color of the second (or third, etc.) nearest pole
- paint it with an average of the colors of the closest n poles
- same as before, but using a weighted average, etc.

These are a few captures from exploring those possibilities."
