Treppenauge es una instalación realizada por Willkommen zu Haubitz & Zoche. El punto de partida de esta pieza fue una fotografía de una escalera elíptica situada en el mismo edificio. Se ha proyectado el conducto en paredes, techo y suelo mediante murales y mosaicos, sólo hay un punto desde donde se puede discernir la espiral en su conjunto. Caminando a través del pasillo, el dibujo se muestra como una forma fragmentada, distorsionada y centrífuga que se abstienede la definición geométrica. La pieza que cambia según el punto de vista hace que nos planteemos sobre nuestro supuesto conocimiento de la perspectiva y percepción espacial. Ver vídeo dentro del post;

Treppenauge is an installation realized by Willkommen zu Haubitz & Zoche. The point of departure for this piece was a photograph of an elliptical stairwell situated in the same building. Projected into the passageway and transferred to the walls, celling and floor via wall paintings and mosaics as drawings in spatial perspective, there is only one vantage point from which this spiral can be discerned as a whole. Walking through the passageway, the drawing is experienced as a fragmented, centrifugally distorted forms that eschew geometric definition. The piece, which changes according to the viewpoint, questions our supposed knowledge of perspective and spatial perception.
