«Still Life» es un acuario que funciona como una interfaz móvil, como arquitectura en movimiento . Esta pieza puede disminuir su inercia habitual transformandose en un vehículo para el pez. «Still Life» ofrece un modelo de acuario dinámico, que se impulsa a través del espacio terrestre de acuerdo a los movimientos de los peces. Se convierte en una arquitectura reactiva, mejora la capacidad física de sus habitantes explorando un entorno hostil, como los campos similares a los del ser humano, aéreo, submarino o extraterrestre. Este se convierte en un acuario autónomo, un nuevo descubrimiento del espacio hace libre a los peces de su entorno estático. «Still Life» is an aquarium which functions both as moving interface and mobile architecture. This piece thus loses its usual inertia by transforming itself into a vehicle for the fish that dwells in it. «Still Life» offers a model for a dynamic aquarium, which propels itself through terrestrial space according to the movements of the fish. It becomes a reactive architecture enhancing the physical ability of its dweller to explore an hostile environment – similar to human expeditions of aerial, submarine or extraterrestrial fields.
The aquarium aims to become autonomous, it opens a discovery of space. «Still Life» sets free the fish of its static environment while creating a dependence on technology. Is a project developed by Clovis Duran and Nicolas Rivet with the support of the HEAD of Geneva.
