Bildbauten by Philipp Schaerer

Me parece increíble esta serie de fotografías arquitectónicas denominada "Bildbauten", me encanta la sencillez y la perfección con la que trabaja Philipp Schaerer. Un diseño que llama la atención por sus simple composición y escasez de materiales. No son casas imposibles pero si irreales. "Bildbauten" nos hace creer o pone en duda nuestra credibilidad sobre la fotografía arquitectónica. Con vistas frontales Schaerer nos muestra su ficticia arquitectura a través de su exagerada forma de representarlo. Todas las imágenes han sido creadas desde cero tratando de reproducir una contemporánea realidad a partir de otras imágenes digitales (interesante, ver makin off de una de ellas, aquí) Ver más dentro del post;

English info after the jump;

I really love "BILDBAUTEN" the architectonic photograph series by Philipp Schaerer. The series of images with the title "Bildbauten“ deals with the effect and the claim to credibility of images of architecture that appear to be photographs. It further questions the medium “photograph” as a documentary piece of evidence depicting reality.
Frontal views of fictional architectures serve as an example. By means of their exaggerated and orchestrated way of representation, they model themselves on the object-like appearance and the formal language of contemporary architecture in a rather ironic way. All images try to reproduce a reality. They are not a photograph; instead, they were newly designed and constructed from scratch by means of image synthesis and digital image editing."(See also making of, here).
