Idle Speculation by Aaron Rothman



Aaron Rothman’s photographs, video and installation artwork explore perceptual experience of space in both natural and built environments.

"For Idle Speculation, I have digitally layered together multiple views of a scrubby patch of weeds and wildflowers growing in a half-built office park, controlling how each layer interacts with the others. The different image layers variously amplify specific aspects of each other, or cancel each other out.
