I'm sure you already know Kim Asendorf (@kimasendorf) or you have already seen his works around internet. I love his projects which always have an abstract, minimal, and geometric aesthetics, you can check it in his last exercise called "638".
Asendorf is doing a little Processing workshop each monday in the Art School Kassel, this time he showed the students how to make gifs with Processing and the gifAnimation library by extrapixel . With this flow he did this gif series, these are programmed, a circle aligned to the center of the canvas gets a random size and color. A simple loop tween makes it as large as possible (256px) and then back to zero pixel and again to the starting value. The same happens with the color and also the alpha value. By using more than 1 circle something like a wormhole appears. and if you want, it also feels like the circles rotates like vinyl on a turntable.

(Esp) Estoy seguro de ya conoces a Kim Asendorf (@kimasendorf) o seguramente hayas visto alguno de sus trabajos en Internet. A mi personalmente me encantan sus proyectos, siempre con una estética abstracta, minimalista y geométrica, se puede comprobar en su último ejercicio llamado "638".
Asendorf está haciendo un pequeño workshop sobre Processing cada lunes en "Art School Kassel", en esta ocasión ha enseñado a los estudiantes cómo hacer gifs con Processing y con la gifAnimation library de extrapixel . Con este flow ha hecho esta serie de gifs, los cuales han sido programados; un círculo alineado en el centro del "lienzo" obtiene un tamaño y color aleatorio. Una interpolación tipo bucle hace que se haga lo más grande posible (256px) y luego que vuelva a cero píxeles y otra vez al valor inicial. Lo mismo ocurre con el color y también el valor alfa. Utilizando más de un círculo parecido a un "wormhole" o a los círculos de giran en el vinilo en un tocadiscos.
