Surface Detail



A myriad of details in an evolving fractal landscape, created by Tom Beddard. He's currently working on a WebGL 3D fractal renderer that will let you explore structures like this in real time (see video). It is rendered using his own GPU based raytracer written in GLSL. All the shapes are the result of the fractal formulas. See more;

A series of subdivisions

"The images are rendered on the GPU using another Pixel Bender filter I'm working on. The square images are based on a Menger sponge with rotation and offsets applied at each iteration, which is why the structure divides and changes on each iteration." See more;

Las imágenes se han renderizado en la GPU utilizando otro filtro Pixel Bender el que estoy trabajando. Las imágenes cuadradas se basan en la Menger sponge con la rotación y las compensaciones aplicadas en cada iteración, por lo que la estructura se divide y y cambia en cada iteración.
