Rien a Cacher Rien a Craindre - UVA

As the first artists in residence at la Gaîté lyrique in Paris, United Visual Artists created Rien a Cacher / Rien a Craindre (March 2011), a series of responsive light and sound installations that together seduced and unsettled visitors in a unique way.

Exploring the unexamined assumption that digital technology is moving us towards utopia, UVA created a visitor experience simultaneously celebrating and critiquing the brave new world of the digital.

UVA worked together with sound designers Matthias Kispert and Henrik Ekeus to bring la Gaîté lyrique to life, and a unique collaboration was formed with British sound artist Scanner. See more;
